Uses SOLIDWORKS configurations and materials to simply analysis iterations.

Materials Database
A dense library of material options, including some from the world’s most recognized suppliers. Also included are all of the relevant material properties needed for the analysis.

Meshing
Built in automated discretization of your geometry.

Parallel Computing (Multi-core)
The 3D solver takes advantage of multicore (multi-thread) computing.

Filling Phase (1st Stage Injection)
Analysis predicts how the material flows the mold cavity. Results will show fill time and pressure distribution and indicate short shots, weldlines, and airtraps.

Automatic Gate Location(s)
Let the software suggest optimum gate location(s) or choose them manually if you prefer.

Instantaneous Fill Time Plot
Predicts the flow pattern based on selected gate location. This is useful for initial injection location placement.

Sink Mark Analysis
Predicts depth and location of sink marks on the molded part.

eDrawings Support

Fill Time
This is the time to fill the entire mold cavity or cavities.

Estimate of part cooling time in fill time analysis.

Weld Lines
Reveal where two flow lines might meet, causing cosmetic flaws and impact material integrity.

Air Traps
Predicts depth and location of sink marks on the molded part.

Sink Marks
Sink Marks are indentations caused by poor cooling in non-uniform thickness regions. Identify problem areas before it’s too late.

Frozen Layer Fraction at End of Fill
Displays the frozen (solidified) material in the cavity at the end of the fill.

Clamp Force
The calculated force required to keep the mold closed during the injection process.

Cycle Time
The time for a complete injection molding cycle.
