SOLIDWORKS - Modeling Pipe

Learn some great tips and tricks for modeling a formed pipe between two tanks in SOLIDWORKS, this technique can be used to create tubing or wires. The pipe is started by using top down assembly modeling and referencing some of the external features of the tanks to help create the start and ends of the pipe. Then for ease of use, we’ll finish out the complex model by using a 3D sketch with some simple sketch relations. Once the path is created just use a sweep with the circular and thin feature options to complete the design. Quick Tip presented by Steven Darcey of GoEngineer.
