SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION - I'm Falling for You Part 3

Would you trust your safety to 3D printed parts? Have you ever used SOLIDWORKS Simulation Topology Optimization? Have you ever wondered about the reliability of these results?
Today we challenge tools from the SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional package and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Simulation apps within the Structural Mechanics Engineer by running a person's weight on an ASA printed carabiner to predict the height necessary to break and to visualize how it would fail.

We'll use the ABAQUS explicit solver, and later drop myself on this ASA printer carabiner to test the reliability of the SOLIDWORKS topology optimized results.
No more dead load, instead a dead drop. Will it hold?
