Altair Inspire - Getting Started

Altair Inspire provides designers with topology optimization and motion analysis using geometry created from any CAD system. This video is for users brand new to the Altair Inspire interface who are looking to get oriented with their default installation. Importing files, adjusting units, adjusting standard views, mouse controls, creating custom views, and section views are discussed. Secondly, Inspire has features to modify imported geometry, used with the intention of prepping a CAD file for analysis. This video also introduces the features on the Geometry tab including Sketching, Push/Pull, Move Face, Mirror, Scale, Boolean, Cut, Simplify, Partition, MidSurface, and Fillet.
