This is a great introduction video to the world of CAMWorks and SOLIDWORKS CAM assembly mode machining. It explains how to get started, the proper work flow and the advantages of programming in assembly mode vs part mode. Many people would benefit greatly by taking advantage of assembly mode programming but just don’t know the work flow so they opt to continue using part mode and to me this is unacceptable. So I decided to make a video that introduces you to assembly machining and by the end of it you should have the confidence to step into the world of programming in assembly mode and taking full advantage of its capabilities.
