The default location of the CAMWorks technology database is C:\CAMWorksData\CAMWorks20XXx64\TechDB\Techdb.cwdb and the SOLIDWORKS CAM default location is C:\ProgramData\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS CAM 20XX\TechDB\Techdb.cwdb. I explain what can commonly causes this error and how to resolve it for the most common reasons for both CAMWorks and SOLIDWORKS CAM.
