GoEngineer Gives UT Dallas a Competitive Edge in FSAE

Formula SAE is an international competition hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). This Collegiate Design Series (CDS) competition pushes students to go beyond classroom material by challenging them to design, build, and test the performance of a formula-style vehicle. This challenge also pushes students to learn other crucial skills like marketing, project management, and finance.

Each vehicle is inspected in a series of tests to comply with all competition rules to ensure safety. Students are then tested and scored on their knowledge of their vehicle design by experts in various industries.

GoEngineer became a sponsor of the student-led formula racing team at the University of Texas at Dallas where the whole team received expert SOLIDWORKS training and guidance, along with SOLIDWORKS licenses and access to world-class 3D printers to print the parts they designed for their vehicle, and as a result, they had a great run for their first year in the competition.
