If you are on a team that uses both SOLIDWORKS and 3DX CATIA then this webinar is for you. Watch how we create a part in SOLIDWORKS and check it into the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, then we can open the Motorbike in 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and insert the native SOLIDWORKS file and add some engineering connections to place it in the correct location. Next, we’ll check for interference and make sure everything fits, and there’s an issue so we need to make a change action to document what needs to be done. Then we’ll open the part in SOLIDWORKS and make the necessary modifications and save it as a new revision. Next the top-level motorbike would need to update the model with the new changes, verify the design, and create a new revision of the motorbike. Now that the work is done, we can set the change action to complete and release the CAD files.
