This short video shows “how-to” create a schematic and 3D route of a component that has a pigtail or flying lead. This question arises quite often and being able to see the construction behind the scenes should demystify this problem. Creating a schematic circuit and making it into a harness allows us to transform the representation into a final routed product that has the look and feel of the true device. This is an instructional video to show you how to accomplish the task of adding flying lead components and devices with pigtails in your assemblies and have the added flexibility of positioning where the leads and pigtails are routed.
