This quick tutorial goes over two ways to quickly fix the common installation error of a blank Installation Manager screen when trying to unpack the installation media sets provided by GoEngineer. When using the default settings within Windows File Explorer, several key files may be blocked by the security settings. Using a different file archiving tool like 7zip to unpack the installation media will not block those key files and allow the installer to continue as normal. Another method is to right-click on the zip installation media zip file and select Properties. On the Properties tab, there is security option checkbox that will prevent the default security settings from interfering with the unzipping process. Once either of these two methods is used, setup.exe can be run as normal with the instructions provided.
