This webinar compares the total life Cycle Costs of a Hobbyist grade Markforged 3D FDM printer to that of the Stratasys F123 Commercial grade FDM Printer. Hobbyist grade printers offer lower initial purchase prices but also require higher labor costs especially for post processing. The Stratasys F123 series utilize soluble support materials which essentially eliminate all labor costs for post processing.
Join us for this virtual event where we will take real customer parts printed from both systems and document the two processes and then extrapolate these costs over a four (4) year life cycle. The result is a graph with 2 curves representing the total cost as a function of the volume of parts produced. There is a cross over point between the two curves whereas the Stratasys Printers have a lower total cost above a certain volume point. This analysis finds this threshold volume.
