Post-cure 3D Printed Parts with the Onulis WRAP Prime System

Post-Cure Your Parts

Photopolymer 3D printing technologies, such as SLA, DLP, and PolyJet, use various wavelengths of UV light to cure liquid resins. As the material is deposited, it is cured but needs a final post-cure to ensure all of the material is safe for handling.

The Onulis WRAP Prime blends waste resin axial 3D printing with the ability to post-cure your parts. Gone are the days of needing two separate machines. You get all of the power from one source.

Eliminate Hazardous Waste

Photopolymer 3D printing provides some of the most highly detailed parts from using liquid resins. While these resins are safe once fully cured, the waste resin and expired materials are considered hazardous waste when in liquid form. Instead of spending extra money for hazardous waste removal, you can use the WRAP to convert the liquid into a solid for safe disposal in your normal refuge.

To determine how long to cure a part, it is recommended to advise to the Onulis P3/DLP Workflow Guide from their website (or from the QR code on the front of your machine). Simply choose your material and follow the cleaning and curing instructions.
No, the WRAP Prime is fully automatic and will shut down after its set time or when the Disposable Tube is fully printed.
After obtaining a Self-Audit kit from Onulis, use the kit’s calibrated irradiance meter and multi-position fixture to capture readings, enter values into the provided spreadsheet, which automatically logs a pass/fail result, and then send the meter back to the factory annually to renew its calibration certification.
The unit does not flip parts; instead, it features a rotating, elevated glass table paired with two high-powered UV arrays above and two below to fully cure all surfaces simultaneously. This unique design makes the WRAP Prime the only post-cure solution that automatically cures all sides at once, including downward-facing surfaces.
