    DESCRIPTION:  This course will teach you how to create a sheet metal part using standard wall, bend, and stamping features. You will see how user features can be incorporated into the design and how to use both standard and user-defined materials. Finally, you will learn how to create a flat pattern and produce a detailed, annotated drawing.

    Lesson 1: 
    Introduction to Sheet Metal Design

    • This section introduces you to the Sheet Metal Design app. You will also learn how to define Sheet Metal Parameters. 

    Lesson 2: 
    Creating Walls and Bends

    • Learn how to create walls, bends, corners, and basic features of a sheet metal part. 

    Lesson 3: 
    Creating the Detailed Design

    • Learn how to create details like cutouts, corner relief, and stamps in the sheet metal part. 

    Lesson 4: 
    Reusing Parts and Features

    • Learn the methods to reuse or duplicate existing parts or features using patterns, powercopy, user-defined stamps, and more. 

    Lesson 5: 
    Generating Drawings

    • Learn how to generate sheet metal part drawings and sheet metal order process. 

    Lesson 6: 
    Master Exercise: DVD Support

    • In this exercise, you will create a DVD Support part to practice using the various tools of the SheetMetal Design app.
