Renderings are a useful tool in the modern world because they allow you to convey your ideas and products to your audience well before you’re ready to go to market. And if you’re a SOLIDWORKS user, you may not even realize that you have access to a great rendering tool called SOLIDWORKS Visualize.

 

When creating a 2D drawing, it’s common practice to have multiple sheets to clearly define the information needed to manufacture parts and assemblies. As you’re adding additional sheets, you may be prompted with a SOLIDWORKS error message that says, “The sheet format could not be located.”

Multibody part design is a powerful capability in SOLIDWORKS. It allows us to create complex part geometry as an intermediate step, or we can use it similarly to an assembly by allowing us to design different components as different bodies in a part file.
