When creating a 2D drawing, it’s common practice to have multiple sheets to clearly define the information needed to manufacture parts and assemblies. As you’re adding additional sheets, you may be prompted with a SOLIDWORKS error message that says, “The sheet format could not be located.”
What if you could learn SOLIDWORKS without having to leave work for a few days? Or better yet, without having to leave your house? Well, we at GoEngineer have provided two different options for you to do this: virtual classroom and self-paced. Check out this article to learn more about these options.
Multibody part design is a powerful capability in SOLIDWORKS. It allows us to create complex part geometry as an intermediate step, or we can use it similarly to an assembly by allowing us to design different components as different bodies in a part file. This is true for all solid body geometry, as well as sheet metal designs.
