Greyed Out Vault View in SOLIDWORKS PDM: Quick Tip

A greyed out vault view in SOLIDWORKS PDM can be caused by already having had a vault view on your machine. To resolve this issue, you will need to access the Registry and delete the following keys:

Greyed Out Vault View SOLIDWORKS PDM

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SOLIDWORKS\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\vaultname
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SOLIDWORKS\Applications\PDM Works Enterprise\Databases\vaultname
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOLIDWORKS\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\ConisioAdmin

If deleting the following keys does not resolve the issue, please contact Technical Support.
