Stratasys Tutorial - Purge Wizard on the J55 3D Printer

What is the purge wizard and why would you use it? This tutorial walks you through how and why to use this wizard. The J55 3D Printer from Stratasys has many features and tools. One of these is the Purge Wizard. The printer will purge as a part of its regular operation and cleaning, but you can run it yourself as needed. The most common reason I find to run this wizard is if the printer has been sitting idle for several days. A quick purge can get things warmed up and ready to go. And more importantly, it quickly sprays out all the nozzles to ensure they have not clogged up during the downtime. The second reason I use this feature is high-intensity cleaning. If parts are not printing correctly, this is the first thing I try. I run the purge and routine cleaning back-to-back three or four times. This is often enough to clear up temporarily clogged nozzles and get it printing cleanly again. If not, please reach out to our customer support and we will be happy to help.
