Soluble Support

The newly formulated soluble support ‘SUP706B’ eliminates roller bath leakage, as well as support leakages within complex model prints.  SUP706B replaces the former ‘SUP706’ on both the Stratasys J750/J735 models.  This update improves print quality all around for multi-material and full-color 3d printed parts.

With the Stratasys J750 and J735 you can print prototypes and parts with transparency and full color at the same time.  Additionally, you can utilize multiple materials and digital materials to ensure your 3D printed part has visual and tactile accuracy.

Whether you are reconstructing a potential brain tumor, enhancing an intake valve, or diagnosing a degenerative bone disease the Stratasys J750/J735 will provide a transparent window into your 3D model.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! In fact, some of the most satisfied J750/J735 users are ones that take advantage of the numerous material bays to support a wide variety of non-color materials. In this configuration, the J750 is the most versatile 3D printer on the market.

There are several pathways toward full-color prints, and users will choose an option based on their experience and color needs. Bodies or shells can be assigned color, Shore A value, and transparency. Complex color textures can be applied to 3D models in programs that can handle OBJ or VRML file formats. SOLIDWORKS users can apply colors to faces or bodies of their models and export compatible files as well.

This series of machine supports both spray-away and wash-away soluble support material. Spray-away supports can be removed in just a minute or two, and provides a ready-to-use part immediately! Soluble support will typically require a few hours of hands-free soaking to completely dissolve the support material. Either way, parts do not require any post-processing beyond support removal.

Because the J750/J735 support such an expansive array of material options, it is an excellent platform for design and engineering groups. This system is able to print any combination of colored, transparent, rigid, or soft parts all at the same time. The result is unprecedented turnaround time for accurate prototypes, jigs, fixtures, molds, and tooling.

There is a very good chance! Medical professionals love the J750/J735’s unique ability to create accurate, colored anatomical models. We often see these models incased in VeroClear material to allow patients and doctors to easily visualize the inner-workings of the human body. And by altering the Shore value, J750/J735 prints can realistically mimic human tissues.
