Inspire Cast

Altair Inspire Cast is a metal casting simulation that is easy to use and fast to set up. Test your casting designs for problems like porosity or mold erosion before you build your mold. Inspire Cast supports some of the most common foundry processes such as gravity pours, tilt pouring, low pressure and high pressure fills, or investment casting. Also mold components that you can add directly to your simulation on-the-fly include risers with or without sleeves, chillers, overflows, and much more!





Altair Inspire Form is a metal stamping simulation that features an intuitive interface built for designers and engineers. Test your sheet metal stamping designs for thinning, tearing, and formability before cutting steel and creating a die. Users can also perform multi-stage forming, blank fit, blank nesting simulation, and more!





Altair Inspire Extrude Metal and Inspire Extrude Polymer simulate the metal or plastic extrusion process. With Inspire Extrude, testing of complex profiles needing tight tolerances, quality surface finishes, and high strength properties can be done virtually before needing to cut any steel to make a die. Using a virtual die, you can set up an extrusion process quickly and easily.
