PREREQUISITES: CATIA Mechanical Design Fundamentals, Master CATIA Part Design (preferred).
DESCRIPTION: This module will teach you how to use the Generative Wireframe and Surface app to create curves and surfaces. You will learn how to assemble, re-limit and connect the geometries smoothly. You will also learn how to analyze the wireframe and the surface quality and rectify the detected defects.

Lesson 1:
Overview CATIA Generative Wireframe and Surface
- Overview of the CATIA Generative Wireframe and Surface module.
Lesson 2:
Creating A Wireframe Geometry
- Learn how to create reference geometry and 3D curves. You will also learn how to analyze and repair the curve continuities and connections.
Lesson 3:
Creating Surfaces
- Learn about various surface creation tools such as extrude, revolve, multi-section, sweep, fill and offset.
Lesson 4:
Surface Re-limitation and Connection
- Learn how to perform operations on basic surfaces, and how to connect the surfaces smoothly.
Lesson 5:
Surface Check Tools
- Learn how to analyze a surface for its continuity and repair its discontinuities. You will also learn how to analyze a surface for its moldability.
Lesson 6:
Master Exercise: Aircraft
- In this module, you will design the parts of an Aircraft using the tools available in the Generative Wireframe and Surface app.
