DriveWorks License Price Increase Breakdown

DriveWorks recently announced a price increase for all software licenses and subscription support contracts that will go into effect on January 1, 2023.

  • DriveWorks Solo licenses will increase by 25%
  • DriveWorks Pro Administrator and Floating licenses will increase between 20% and 25%
  • DriveWorks Pro Autopilot licenses will increase by 25%
  • DriveWorks Pro Live licenses will increase by 25%

Since 2001, the DriveWorks portfolio has maintained a standard rate for their products. But after decades of improved functionality and software developments with each new release, an updated pricing structure was implemented to reflect these efforts.

Please contact your DriveWorks representative for more information about these pricing changes.

DriveWorks Price Increase FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why is the price of DriveWorks increasing? And why now?

Since first introducing DriveWorks in 2001, the price of what we know as DriveWorks Administrator has not increased. There are now more opportunities for companies to save time and money through adoption of digital technologies and automation in particular.

In addition to continuous software development, DriveWorks has added, and continues to add additional resources (e.g., physical and virtual events, help files, and online learning) to support the success of its users.

Q: Can I still buy DriveWorks at the old price?

Yes, until December 31, 2022, you can still buy DriveWorks at its current price. Contact your DriveWorks representative for a quote.

Q: What if my renewal is coming up before December 31, 2022, will the price change?

No, the price change will only come into effect on January 1, 2023.

Q: Will prices increase anually?

DriveWorks will continue to review prices anually, but currently, there is no plan to change prices annually.

Q: Will my subscription benefits change?

No, you will still have access to all the great benefits of having an active subscription.

Q: What if my licenses are no longer on subscription and wish to bring them up to date?

From January 1, 2023, the new price list will apply to all expired products. If you would like to renew at the current prices, please renew the subscription before December 31, 2022. Please contact your DriveWorks representative if you need pricing details and a quote.

After 30 days, please contact your DriveWorks representative who can discuss the reinstatement fee policy with you.

Q: Will DriveWorks Reinstatement fee policy change?

We will still provide our customers 30 days, from the subscription expiry date, to renew without any penalty. If we receive the renewal within 30 days of the subscription expiry date, the subscription will be renewed at the list price from the original subscription dates.

Q: Do I need to do anything?
No, you will be contacted by your DriveWorks representative with your subscription renewal quote with the updated prices when your quote is due.
