This course will teach you how to design complex 3D mechanical parts using the Boolean approach. You will learn how to work in a Multi-Model Environment and maintain links between 3D models. You will also learn to analyze designs
in order to optimize them.

Lesson 1:
Using 3D Elements to Create a Part
- Learn how to create 3D wireframe elements and a local axis to position geometries. You will also learn how to create a solid based on existing surfaces.
Lesson 2:
Sketch Based Features
- Learn about the advanced sketched-based tools to create complex parts.
Lesson 3:
Part Manipulations
- Learn about different tools used to manage features. You will learn about boolean operations and multi-model links that are used to propagate the design changes from one part to another.
Lesson 4:
Dress-Up Features
- Learn about the advanced tools to dress-up solid parts. You will learn about creating advanced drafts, adding thickness, removing faces and removing a solid face with a surface.
Lesson 5:
Part Analysis
- Learn about various analysis tools like thread and taps analysis and draft analysis. You will also learn about dynamic sectioning and surfacic curvature analysis.
Lesson 6:
Annotations
- Learn how to add text information attached to a part in the 3D geometry.
Lesson 7:
Master Exercise: Mobile Phone Bottom Case
- In this exercise, you will practice to build the bottom case of a mobile phone by following the recommended design procedure.
