Geomagic Design X - Reverse Engineering Buick Riviera Coach Light

This video is an overview of a reverse engineering project involving various GoEngineer products. The objective was to 3D scan, reverse engineer, and 3D print replacement parts for a 1986 Buick Riviera. The OEM parts were 3D scanned using a Creaform HandyScan Black Elite. For reverse engineering the scan data, Geomagic Design X was used. The entire feature history for the parts was transferred to SOLIDWORKS for modifications. After the design work, the parts were 3D printed on a Stratasys J850 and F370. Vero-clear material was used for its transparency and ABS was used as a direct replacement. Learn how these products can improve your reverse engineering process.
