Onulis CleanPoint Automatic Resin Washing Station Available at GoEngineer

Automated Precision for DLP and P3 Production

Achieving the exceptional surface finish and crisp feature definition that P3 and DLP 3D printing are known for requires a highly precise, controlled cleaning process. Proper cleaning is a balancing act. Too little solvent exposure leaves uncured resin on the parts, resulting in sticky surfaces and a loss of fine detail. Too much exposure compromises dimensional accuracy and alters mechanical properties. The Onulis CleanPoint eliminates the guesswork from resin post-processing, providing a reliable, automated platform that guarantees consistent, professional results across every single build.

Set-and-Forget Post-Processing Workflow

Designed as a true industrial "set-and-forget" workflow solution, the CleanPoint allows operators to wash parts while focusing on higher-priority tasks. By handling the timing, submersion, and robotic extraction automatically, it completely eliminates the fear of overexposure, part degradation, or relying on manual timers. The system seamlessly integrates into production spaces, driving down labor costs, maximizing part throughput, and creating a highly repeatable finish for high-end manufacturing.

Automated Post-Processing Workflows with the Onulis CleanPoint

How It Works

1.
First, the printed parts (or a full Stratasys Origin build head) are placed directly into the integrated CleanPoint basket. This direct-loading capability minimizes manual handling of raw photopolymer resin and keeps the workspace clean.

2.
The motorized mechanism lowers the basket into the primary tank for a sequenced immersive wash. High-efficiency magnetic stirring causes a precise solvent vortex, actively driving bulk uncured resin off complex geometries.

3.
Next, the system automically lifts and robotically transfers the basket into the secondary tank for a final, pristine rinse cycle. This sequenced dual-vat action separates bulk contamination from final detailing to maximize solvent efficiency.

4.
Once the pre-programmed material profile timer finishes, the robotic arm extracts the basket completely above the liquid line to drain. Parts emerge dry, pristine, and perfectly detailed, compeltely free from the threat of liquid oversaturation.

Top Features of the Onulis CleanPoint Washing Station

  • Fully automatic submersion and robotic extraction enable safe, unattended operation without the risk of over-exposing parts.

  • Dual-tank sequenced washing automatically transfers parts between independent vats to isolate bulk resin removal from the final rinse.

  • Highly customizable agitation control provides precise command over vortex direction, velocity, and part plunge depth.

  • Programmable material profiles allow operators to set custom timers and unique exposure parameters matched to specific resin types.

  • Open-source architecture ensures a complete compatibility with standard low-cost Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and commercial technical detergents.

  • Integrated build basket sizing seamlessy accomodates full Stratasys Origin One build volumes to maximize workflow efficiency.

The Onulis P3/DLP Workflow Guide quickly establishes your optimal runtime. Simply scan the QR code located directly on the front panel of the CleanPoint or visit the official Onulis Workflow Guide online to cross-reference your specific resin material with validated cleaning and curing times.
The CleanPoint features an open architecture and works perfectly with commercial Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), TPM, and general detergents. IPA is most commonly used due to its broad material manufacturer validation and exceptional affordability.
Yes. Because the CleanPoint operates on open-source chemistry, the used solvent can be poured into a standard, low-cost solvent distiller to separate the liquid from suspended, uncured photo-resins, cutting down disposal costs and environmental footprints.
In standard automated mode, the unit handles parts matching the full Origin build volume, up to 9.5 inches tall. In manual cleaning mode, parts as tall as 14 inches can be submerged. Note that internal cavities and complex geometries should be reviewed to select the ideal wash orientation and vortex cycle.
The CleanPoint allows operators to build precise material-specific presets. You can fully customize the cleaning time, part plunge-submersion depth, draining duration, and both the velocity and directional spin of the magnetic vortex agitation.
The CleanPoint serves as Step 1 (part cleaning) in the complete industrial post-processing ecosystem. For automated, material-manufacturer-validated production, it is designed to pair seamlessly with Step 2: WRAP Prime (for automated UV part curing) and Step 3: CrossLink (for accurate thermal curing).
