Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) has long been a go-to technology in the additive manufacturing arsenal, delivering durable high-resolution nylon parts fast and cheap. But SLS machines have historically come with size constraints, limiting their applicability for jigs, fixtures, and other tooling. While large parts can be split in CAD prior to printing, the design and assembly process adds lead time, and the joint introduces additional dimensional and strength concerns.
