Frequently asked questions

Q: Why is GoEngineer raising prices?

A: GoEngineer is not raising prices. This decision is based on DS SOLIDWORKS Corp. and we are obligated to follow their direction.

Q: Can I still buy new licenses of SOLIDWORKS at the old price?

A: Yes, until March 31st, 2022. Please reach out to your Sales Representative for a quote.

Q: When is the last day I can buy SOLIDWORKS and Subscription at the “old” prices?

A: We can process orders for the old pricing until 5 PM PST on March 31st, 2022.

Q: What if my renewal is coming up next month, will the price change?

A: If you have a current renewal quote for Subscription, GoEngineer will honor that quote.

Q:If my renewal is later this year, can I “prepay” my renewal at the current “old” price?

A: Yes, as long as you place your order before March 31st, 2022, you can buy up to 5 years of your renewal at the current price.

Q: What is a “term” license?

A: A Term license is another name for leasing your license, the cost is less upfront, but if you do not renew the license, it turns off. This is a great option to spread out the cost of SOLIDWORKS.

Q: What if we can’t pay this month but still want to renew, are there other options for us?

A: Please reach out to your Sales Representative using the form below for more information regarding payment options.

Q: What if I have licenses or products no longer on support and I want to bring those current?

A: Please reach out to your Sales Representative. We have options for customers who are currently off of support but would like to get back on at the lower price.
