When a new user needs access to SOLIDWORKS PDM Client on their workstation, it's necessary to add a Vault View, which is the user interface used to access files. To do this, a permission called Attach Access must be applied to the user on the server.
When working with SOLIDWORKS PDM in Windows File Explorer, you have several view options available. One of the most useful is the Details View, as shown in the screenshot below.
