Creating User Groups on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform can help save time when assigning roles, sharing dashboards, sharing files, and more.
First, access the app from the compass called User Groups. The easiest way to find it (or any role/app) is to search for it.
Once the app has launched, hit the New Group button to create a new group, and then use the Add Member button to start adding users to the group.
Examples of groups one might create are “Engineering”, “Shop Floor”, “Sales”, “Design Approvers”, etc.
Assigning roles to a group rather than one user at a time.
Sharing a Dashboard to a group rather than one user at a time.
User Groups are a great way to save time and can be used practically anywhere.
